Get Your Nails D.I.D – A Product Review

Surfboard PicHey ya’ll!  I don’t typically jump into product reviews and the like here on the blog, but I had to post something about an amazing beauty product brought to my attention.  I didn’t know this before, but there’s a black owned, woman owned nail polish line called Get Your Nails D.I.D.  The company was founded by a southern-bred sista who’s based above the Mason Dixon line (like me) named Adrienne Blanks.

Check the blurb about her fabulous company below:

Get Your Nails D.I.D.
For the nail polish addict, the style conscious teen, the eco-chic creative professional, and anyone in between who supports the nail art movement and loves to see a vibrant self expression on perfectly painted fingertips. D.I.D. Nail Paint was created by Adrienne Blanks, a licensed nail technician, esthetician and nail art enthusiast. Keeping fashion and social responsibility in mind, D.I.D. Nail Paint contains no formaldehyde, no formaldehyde resin,  no toluene, no dibutyl phthalate and no camphor — you know, those toxic chemicals that can be harmful to our bodies. D.I.D. is cruelty free (never tested on animals) and is proudly made in the U.S.A. So you can get your nails D.I.D. creatively, responsibly, and freely.
I love nail polish but I’ve never been the greatest at staying on top of manicures and the like, but I when I was introduced to their polishes, specifically the light blue color, Surfboard, I was sold.  Not only does the color go on easily, it lasts through my daily tasks, like typing.  Even when the color started to wear, I was on top of retouching my nails because the color is so pretty.
